SSM (former SKI) - Experiences from the International Common Cause Failure Data Exchange-project (ICDE)
Within the ICDE project a great amount of information on dependent failure, of CCF-character, at the nuclear power plants
of the member countries has, during a long time, been collected and quality assured. It is considered to
be important that the public reporting
by ICDE is further treated at national and local level, in this case within SKI. Considering SKI it is essential that the collected information
is modified so that the inspection activities can make use of and be
supported by the obtained experiences when an inspection or review is planned
and
performed. The result is documented in SKI-rapport 2008:32
(written in swedish but with a short english summary).

Ringhals AB - Modernization project Ringhals 1
During the modernization of old power plants the safety analysis reports are updated due to the introduced improvements. An important document
that is included in the updating process is Säkerhets-tekniska
driftförutsättningar. Following these operating conditions ensures that the plant is running within the parameters which the
analyses are based on.

South Ukraine block 1, Ukraine – Support to the power plant during production of Periodic Safety Review, PSR
In accordance to Sweden's cooperation agreement with Ukraine SSM is supporting South Ukraine’s staff during the production
of the plant's first PSR. IAEA is recommending that a PSR of a nuclear power plant is produced every 10 year. A PSR includes a number of keys being
reviewed and analysed to ensure that the plant can operate until the next PSR, 10 years a head.

OKG AB - Projekt PULS – Updating system descriptions
An important part of power uprate projects is to update the safety analysis report which among many includes system descriptions.
To manage the administration and the quality assurance of the work, we have used our own document management system (SusiQ) for creating a project
site on our homepage. This means that we have traceability to all actions carried out and all the members in the project have easy access to the
material.

Forsmark AB – Staffing analyses
To be able SKI to assess the staffing in the control rooms for SKI, they have made an injuction to Sweden's nuclear power plants
regarding staffing analyses for control room staff and plant technicians. The objective of the analyses is to study the staffing in a reactor safety
point of view. Our project includes implemention, documentation and presentation of the analyses regarding the demand of control room staff and plant
technicians which will be used when determining the minimum amount of staff.

SKB AB – Transport of capsules
SKB is about to apply for a permit according to the Environmental Code to build and operate a final repository for spent nuclear
fuel. This includes making an environmental impact assessment. Our project resulted in a description of the transport of capsules filled with spent
nuclear fuel which will be a part of SKB's environmental impact assessment.
